1. Medical Services Disclaimer

Mesa Crest Psychiatry provides virtual outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management through telemedicine. Information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

No physician-patient or provider-patient relationship is created by viewing this website alone. A therapeutic relationship is established only after an appointment has been scheduled, completed, and formally accepted by the provider.


2. Telemedicine Services

All clinical services are delivered via secure telemedicine platforms. By scheduling and participating in telemedicine care, you acknowledge and consent to treatment delivered electronically and understand that:

  • Telemedicine may involve limitations compared to in-person care
  • Technical failures may occasionally occur
  • You must be physically located in a state where Mesa Crest Psychiatry is licensed at the time of each appointment

Telemedicine is not appropriate for emergency situations or acute psychiatric crises.


3. Emergency Situations

Mesa Crest Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are experiencing:

  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Homicidal thoughts
  • A psychiatric emergency
  • A medical emergency

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States.

Do not use this website, email, or patient portal for urgent matters.


4. Appointment Scheduling and Attendance

Appointments must be scheduled through the approved booking platform. Late arrivals, missed appointments, or cancellations are subject to fees per clinic policy.

Patients are responsible for ensuring:

  • A private environment during telemedicine visits
  • A stable internet connection
  • Accurate and complete intake information

Failure to attend scheduled appointments may result in discontinuation of services.


5. Scope of Practice

Mesa Crest Psychiatry provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management only. The clinic does not provide:

  • Emergency psychiatric services
  • Inpatient care
  • Long-term psychotherapy
  • Court evaluations or legal testimony
  • Disability or forensic evaluations
  • Detoxification or substance withdrawal treatment

Treatment decisions are made at the clinical discretion of the provider.


6. Prescribing Policies

Medication prescribing occurs only after a clinical evaluation and is based on medical necessity, safety, and appropriateness. Mesa Crest Psychiatry reserves the right to decline or discontinue medications if clinically indicated.

Controlled substances, stimulants, and benzodiazepines are subject to additional restrictions and may not be prescribed.


7. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest health information
  • Adhere to prescribed treatment plans
  • Use medications only as directed
  • Attend follow-up appointments as recommended
  • Communicate changes in symptoms or side effects

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in modification or discontinuation of care.


8. Payment and Fees

Patients are responsible for all fees associated with services provided. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Any billing questions should be directed to the clinic.

Mesa Crest Psychiatry reserves the right to update fees with appropriate notice.

You agree not to:
