Mesa Crest Psychiatry values your time and strives to provide timely access to care. To ensure appointment availability for all patients, the following cancellation and attendance policy is in effect.
24-Hour Notice Requirement
Patients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice may be given through the scheduling platform or by contacting the clinic directly.
Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $75 fee immediately charged to the card on file.
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a patient:
- Fails to attend a scheduled appointment, or
- Arrives more than 10 minutes late and is unable to be seen, or
- Is unavailable or not present for a telemedicine appointment at the scheduled time
No-show appointments are subject to a $75 fee immediately charged to the card on file.
Cancellation & No-Show Fee
- $75 fee for:
- No-show appointments
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice
This fee will be charged to the card on file.
Fees are not billable to insurance and are the patient’s responsibility.
Repeated Missed Appointments
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in:
- Requirement of prepayment for future appointments
- Modification of scheduling privileges
- Discontinuation of care at the provider’s discretion
Emergency Situations
In rare cases involving genuine emergencies, fees may be reviewed at the clinic’s discretion. Documentation may be requested.
Agreement
By scheduling an appointment with Mesa Crest Psychiatry, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Cancellation and No-Show Policy.
